Rock band Steely Dan produced a unique fusion of rock, rhythm & blues, jazz, funk and pop, completely atypical for the 1970’s, their period of peak popularity. Known primarily as a studio band, the group revolved around its two core members, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Steely Dan has sold over 30 million albums world wide.
